Lifestyle after 50:
The Life, Not Just the Escape Plan

What now?

Everyone selling the “life after 50” story wants to talk about money or health. Nobody wants to talk about 2.30 on a Tuesday afternoon.

That’s what this part of the site is about:

  • The ordinary mechanics of a life that’s changed shape whether you asked for it or not
  • The kids who left and took most of the noise with them
  • Losing the job title that defined who you are
  • “The wall” that shows up every afternoon whether you slept fine or not

None of this is a crisis. It’s more like a renovation — you’re still living in the house, you’re just wondering what to do with the extension now and those cracks that appeared.

What’s here?

  • The identity question sitting underneath the job-title question
  • What actually helps once the house empties out
  • The home-office setup nobody designed properly (because it was meant to be temporary)
  • The energy-management side of things

Nothing to sell, nothing to escape from. Just the parts of being 50-plus that don’t show up on a spreadsheet.
